Just a short report this week...

Qualified 22nd which was to be expected, It rained all night keeping me awake and was really windy, it stopped first thing in the morning and the track was a little sloppy to begin with, but was going to be just perfect by first race...

Race 1 : Still on my Sponsors own bike the vintage 2008 Yzeeeeeee 124/144, i was hopefull of a good start similar to the last week , gate dropped and i didnt hook up on the Worn out dunlop and i slid left and right before i headed up the straight. I actually was going ok a couple of riders down on the next few corners and i settled into my pace and finished upright and 18/22

Race 2: Gate dropped and another awful start and 2 laps in i had enough as i couldnt keep pace and pulled out, Of to see Greta and find out if i could drop into the next Junior C Race.

I was looking for some confidence that has been knocked over the last 5 meetings by coming at the rear or near enough, so knew by the laptimes a bit of sandbagging would cheer me up.

Race 2.5: Gate dropped and i rounded 1st corner in 4th over 2 big jumps and a couple more corners i was upto 2nd, the leader jumped over the blind uphill jump and i followed only to find him sprawled across the center of the track. Unfortunatley when i saw him i was mid air and i landed straight on the poor sods bike which stopped me dead. The whole pack went by, and by the time i got going i was on a charge to try and get through as many as i can before the end. Easily expecting a top 10.
The next lap going up the start straight i could hear a bit of piston slap and the bike was fluffing at top revs, by the time i got to complete the end of lap 1, bike was dead.

Now not only is my bike in bits but so will this 1 be

Its sounding an all too familiar thing with 2fat and his bikes blowing up so i thought i would join in.... Once Mr Clithroe has done a few tweaks to my Vintage Honda motor, i should be back in the seat for the next round.

Junior Group B would of thought. :xbeer
