Welcome to round 6, this week the series will take in Housten, TX....

It's Round 7 of 8 in the Supercross Lites West Region, and we're asking whether Villopoto will wrap up the championship?

The MotoBet staff have calculated that if Ryan Villopoto finishes inside the top 12 this week, the title will be his, regardless of what other riders do.

Points are allocated as follows per race...

Details:

Please be careful when placing bets, as we have no facility to change them. Also we will not be returning bets placed on riders who do not make the main event for whatever reason i.e. injury. We will also be taking the initial result reported by the ama on Sunday morning, any following disqualification will not be counted. (e.g. the fuel thing)

Saw this on the Racer X Site, saying he only needs 5th to get the championship this weekend?


Villopoto overcame a nasty practice crash and a tangle with a lapped rider in last Saturday’s race in Houston’s Reliant Stadium to earn a come-from-behind victory. The Houston win puts Villopoto in a very enviable position. He needs only to finish fifth or better in San Diego to clinch the 2007 AMA Supercross Lites West crown. Just two races, including San Diego, remain in the series.

i hate maths stuff like this :lol: ...so if RV finishes outside the top five..the lad currently lying second would need to win on Saturday or else RV would still win the championship...???
