I know what your saying about how you shouldnt have a budget for saftey equipment etc, unfortunatley we all have to draw a line under spenditure under the current situation in this country.
I have taken on board what you have said and i do totally agree so the options i have are to spend the amount I budgeted on 1 knee, and then when things change and the work flows a bit better i could get the other.
I am more concerened over the damaged knee i have att he moment which i hasten to add was not as serious as i 1st thought, i had tuesday off as i couldnt move at all and wednesday i went to work and hobbled about and today apart from a few twinges have managed to walk around quite freely. So i think i got a lucky escape.
I think ime out of action for at least 2-3 weeks and during this time i will purchase 1 or 2.
Dobbin - a serious post here. It might be worth having a chat to Baz at MX Bits as he stocks the full range of braces, from the cheap ones right up to the top of the range ones. But, he can speak to you from his own experience too as he's just had a knee reconstruction this Summer. You'll probably get some pretty good advice off him actually, and then if you do go on to buy some he might be able to sort you a good deal out.
Not sure if you've dealt with Baz before but he's pretty sound. You can get him on 01689 842125. Just give him a call and see what he recommends for your budget.
