Default Conflict of Pipes

I have a KXF450 06, which i am trying to fit a DEP S7 pipe on. The problem is that the Header pipe has an extra chamber, which sits very close to the Radiator hose fitting to the water pump. There is about a 2mm gap.
Will the close proximity of the Exhaust affect the water temperature, or worse still, melt the radiator hose?
I have tried to rotate the header pipe, but the more i do, the less the silencer fits?
Can anyone help with ideas or tips on what they did if they have the same set-up?

Thanks
