Pretty gutted about the news tbh, although I know i would have struggled with fitness having not riden for so long, in fact Foxhills was the last time I rode Lewis!
On a serious note,im so gutted,i had been rdiing well the week up until now,so was looking forward to it. looks like i may only have a few races left in 08
I rode one of those Shell Advance round there in the late 90's in the wet, the track still rode o.k, but also another way of looking at it......If only 1 or 2 sidecars made round you'd be waiting ages for a track like that to be cleared of all the outfits,and the majority of enrties at UMX are Juniors if the track was that bad most of the B&C group would not make it round either.
Gutted it's cancelled but Spags makes a valid point, whilst the experts and half the juniors would make it round the majority of the chairs would struggle and the rest of the juniors depending on the severity.... although they could of cut the hills out for the chairs and 'C' group if neccesary.....
But in favour of the club they have given good notice and I went past today and the fields are waterlogged up that way.. so although I hate to admit it they probably made the right decision...

Just read on ad trip,that the club CJSC? were holding a 2 day meeting at Matchams this weekend,but had to cancel.....so they managed to get culham as replacement......wonder if it occured to UMX to try culham?
