UMX championships @ foxhill moto park - Page 5

I doubt the UMX championships will be going much longer unless they up their game and get some decent venues. Riders are not going to pay to ride Swanmore, West Meon, Ringmer, Foxholes etc. There are decent circuits out there, they just need to work harder to get them. Rusper is a nice track, Whitings water (although a long trek is worth a visit), Winterpick with a bit of work is worth a visit. I`m sure you guys could add to this list without thinking of tracks like foxhills, culham etc

I rang the number on the website a few times to offer to help them get culham. I got no answer then saw the umx site said they'd tried other tracks but its too short notice.

9am yesterday cambridge lost matchams which was my replacement ride for foxhill. I spoke to their secretary and needless to say cambridge now have a quality replacement in culham.

I would question why the umx didn't try culham before deciding they couldn't get another venue, but I won't.

cambridge had a lot of locals to matchams booked in so are now lower on number so if you want to ride either the sat, sun or both i'd suggest calling them

Culham would of been great to ride this Sunday, but unfortunatly i've now committed myself to some training down at Tony's... stilll after Thursday's session with 16 roofers and a few heavy downpours im aching like a thumb whacked with a hammer...

2 hours of solid riding/picking strewn riders up etc is pretty tough going for an ancient git like me....
