Puffs, thought these goldentyres were good!

Good old s12, 9 psi in rear, the 2 stroke will stick in the ground plus with all the thumpers and quads their i bet the grass will go quickly in corners!

well........not the best of days for me

After waking up about 15 times in the night as i thought i'd stay up there saturday night and sleep in the tent,i was more tired in the morning that the night before

Practice.....the showers had begun, and the track was slick.....which made a riding a 250 smoker even more tricky

Qualifying race....got a aweful jump out the gate, overtook a few, and ended up in the b group, which i was pleased with seeing as they went from a-d for this meeting

Race 1. Slight confusion.....the programme said that due to only 2 races per groups,we would be having slightly longer races to make it better.great i though,so watched the d group start and wondered back to the van to refuel and get ready.....wondered doen to the waiting area with the next group on the line......then chris wratton came in the waiting area......."Alight mate! I said..."what group is on the line?"
"Thats the b group"he replied they decided to shorten the races to 5 laps...... no gates free,so had to start behind everyone.
Dead last into the 1st corner....out the power down, and got back to 15th out 40 in 5 laps so was pleased with that.

Then came the lunch break/auction.....2 hours later racing begun again

Race 2,.got a stinker of a start and finished 23rd i think. nothing happened good in that race

I had a mixed day, think its my highest points total of the yea tho, so im pleased with that

Did ok in Quali, got a good start, kept it up right and came home in 8th. wasnt really doing any of the doubles, only the uphill ski jumps where u land into a whoop section, i was trippling up there which not too many peeps around me were doing.

As we sat on the line for the first race it started raining, and i had the far left gate which is pure chalk. bad start and struggling for any grip ended up with small crash on the first lap, followed by casing the tripple i was doing easily in quali left me a bit brused and deflated. Took a few bad landings and felt like i was gonna snap my ankles off.

2nd race was dry again, got a top 15 start and fought my way bac to 25th ish at the flag, but i cleared alot more of the jumps this time.

Wish we had a bit more track time, theres still 2 more doubles i reccon i could of done given 1 more chance....
