Well I had a lucky day, young Rich was well off race fitness and couldnt compete with my GOLDENTYRE (even though it's on it's 4th meeting)

Race 1 I sliced across the pack see first pic from the far outside to take the Holeshot and had a comfortable gap that i maintained till the flag.
Race 2 again the GOLDENTYRE hooked up and propelled me the long way round into the lead, I again had no need for my ZEAL OPTIC's goggles (no dust at the front) although I slowed at half distance to tempt a bit of a ding dong with Rich he got tangled in some back markers and I decieded to play safe and pulled away for win 2.
Race 3.... oh... there wasnt a race 3 but I got confused, summit to do with my age i think... Didnt have a choice of gate so I slotted in about 10 bikes from the outside with Hollywood occupying my prefered slot. What the hell was he doin in my race...

anyway.... between us we put the pair of FUTURE RACING Suzuki's into P1 and 2 and I then managed to maintain P1 for 2 laps untill Alex Butler came stormin past, i tagged onto the back of him till I hit the big t/t (at the same speed) he had 6 bike lengths on me at this point and as he whipped it flat he landed on the downslope and powered away while i didnt bother with that energy sapping stuff and watched the downslope of the t/t pass me by underneth and proceeded to flat land this monster 90 ft jump... (now this flash stuff does seem to work, only trouble is I cant do it

)
I then held second for another couple of laps untill Nicky Watts got past and at this point I started to wilt pretty bad.. to the point where I was about to pull off the track when i looked over me shoulder and there was Hollywood..

well to say I was knackered was an understaement, but Paul must have bin worse we nearly colllided on jump 1 then on jump 2 and 3 we were side by side, the big t/t was next up and Paul just had the edge as I looked across at him (expectin him to look back over, but he was obviously in a bit of a panic as he didnt wanna get beat by an OAP)... into jump 5 and he had 2 bike on me but i pulled up to his rear wheel into the next corner then promptly ate dirt as i dumped it when the front wheel climbed outta the rut..
Some might say he had a lucky escape...

well I do..
