Glad to say the season for ex Remedies has started...
Qualifying: Struggled to get to grips with Juniors ABC split into 2 quali sessions made 60 riders per session, I got absolutley stoned as we were 1st out and the top had to come of the track, covered in bruises and sore fingers I didnt ride to good an Geez my mate qualified 9th Group C and myself 15th .
Race 1: Very poor start got shut out and rounded the corner in 20th pushed hard and could see geez about 8 bikes in front I got behind him on the last lap pushed forthe big jump and beat him to the line ending 17th and Geez 1 sec behind on 18th. Forum Member Iain Gilliam 27th.
Race 2: Poor start again had to avoid a downed rider and got round in 23rd, geez Gated 8th and i had alot to do, pushed hard over the next 5 laps passed riders and saw Geez about 3 corners away, on the last lap i was behind him with a few corners to go i give the throttle an extra twist and passed him in mid air and had a better run upto the next tabletop and beat him round the last bend by 1 second again..
Ending up in race 2 15th and Geez 16 with Iain Gilliam 31st.
Race 3: I wanted to go home 3-0 up on the team ACM rival and knew he was going all out to stop me getting it..
Geez got the pip on the start and rounded the corner 8th and i was again struggling with my starts and was 16th, pushed hard for 4 laps and couldnt see Geez anywhere, lap 5 I saw him about 3 bikes in front which again spured me on, putting in lap times of 2m.05s only a couple of seconds off the leaders. I cought him up on the 2nd from last lap, put in the move and pulled out a gap and putting in 2 bikes between us.. Geez went home a broken man as he nailed me all season last year when i was on the 125.. revenge is sweet and so was the final result with a 9th and a good top ten result, and Geez coming in 11th and Iain Gilliam 28th...
Overall a cracking days racing and i gotta say that 3 groups of Juniors have some very fast riders in.
Top scootering and no off course monets all weekend...
