After another Chiro and Acupuncture session on Friday I decided the back was good enough to give it a go around the jumps of West Kennett , practise was OK but the track was pretty dry and loose and I felt very stiff on the bike .
Race 1 : Only 18 on the line so the first corner wasn’t too hectic , had a mid pack start but backed off in the second corner as it was pretty dusty and I decided to ride around and get the feel of racing again . A lot of riders were going down in the loose and stoney going and I just rode steadily for a 12th place finish .
Race 2 : Decided on the same tactics for race 2 , started to feel a bit more comfortable as the race wore on , finished 11th.
RACE 3 : Sat on the line I decided to go for it in this race , I was pleased as I arrived at the first corner in 4th place , when a rider came flying across in front of me dropping me to 7th , felt comfortable chasing the 6th place rider for a couple of laps , then things started going wrong , I had a major nose dive off the big tabletop and it felt like my back wheel was loose , my lap time dropped and I lost 2 places in one go , something didn’t feel right but I carried on , as I landed off the step up on the next lap I came down with a hell of a bang , pulled over just past the finish line to discover I had had a flat rear for over a lap

. Can you please remove all those stones before the next meeting there Jason
