Fully agree with Lee on the sweet tooth after a meal, this is where I get the sugar zombie from, ive seen myself hunting through the kitchen cupboards looking for something to scoff just to curb the craving and ended up with a mouthfull of hundreds and thousands.

Cheers for the advise fellas, much appreciated, today has also been a good day with the following.

2 Apples
1 Peach
salad in my lunch box with 4 rivitas
and to polish it all off a small natural yoggy
not so much water today as was driving about getting materials for work
and only 1 black coffee.

Dinner was a jacket spud and some beans.

I actually felt rather full all day which in a way i suppose is good. Now after Dinner i feel stuffed. I just gotta ride out the evening.

Now my pc also blew up when i turned it on tonight so gotta use the wifes lappy haha. So limited access for me.

Oh i just remembered a question i was going to ask:

Breakfast: I never eat breaky, i am a ten o clock tea break man instead. When i say i never i mean in the mornings, do you think its ok to go with a bowl of crunchie nut or a glass of grapefruit or even a half a grapefruit? or is that just eating for the sake of eating.

Dobbin - if you can get into the habbit of eating brekkie first thing then I think it's a good thing. It helps with your metabolism, so it helps you to burn calories off throughout the rest of the day in a sustained manner.

I personally go for half a grapefruit (which I eat while kettle is boiling) and then either porridge or cereal (usually a mix of All Bran and No Sugar Muesli for me, but each to their own). However, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes aren't the greatest choice you can make for brekkie - a lot of added sugar in them really. But you've got to try and make small changes as best you can as if you make huge changes your body will just rebel and you'll be back eating the bad stuff again straight away - so if Crunchy Nut Cornflakes is good for you then go with that for a bit, then maybe try and introduce a more healthy cereal and have that every other day and see how you do with that. If you do ok then aim to ditch the Crunchy Nut completely and go with more healthy cereals. Or have a more healthy cereal with some Crunchy Nut on top - I often have a mix of 3 or 4 cereals in the same dish, so just play around with it. You don't have to eat much either, but if you could manage a small bowl then it would help with your weight loss (which sounds daft as you're actually eating more, but it doesn't really work like that).

As you progress your tastes buds will change and you will adapt though - I seriously just cannot eat the normal red Alpen cos of all the added sugar - it tastes horrible, but a no sugar muesli is food of the Gods for me.

Just keep plugging away - you're doing great, so if you eat something not too healthy then don't worry - small steps and all that. Just keep things on track generally and you'll achieve your goal

The thing about only drinking when you're thirsty isn't great advice to follow to be honest. By the time your body tells you it needs a drink you're already suffering from quite bad dehydration.
