Those little signs on food packaging they have these days also help. The sort of colour coded charts that show the number of calories, sugar, fat etc and the percentage of your recommended daily allowance that is. They serve as a good way of seeing very quickly how good/bad something is for you and its also quite an eye opener.

If you've not taken note of them before spend the rest of the week looking at them and taking in how your foods score. You might be quite surprised, things you thought were healthy that REALLY aren't.

OK 1st week is over and this mornings weigh in was

16.5 1/4

so i make that 8 or 9 pounds over the week

so here goes week 2 and ime hoping to break the into the 15 stone mark.
