I've had an idea Spags, but you'll need a couple of bits of kit for your bike first: - a pair of those BMX Trick Nut things, and a small tow bar.

Once you've fitted these to your bike you can then start going out to recover broken down vehicles on your bike, rather than in the recovery truck. Simply hitch the stricken car to the back of your bike, get the driver of the car to stand on the Trick Nuts at the back of your bike and you can drive him home courtesy of your pedal power whilst towing the car - you'll be fit in no time
