I might be there in a spectating capacity, but it'll do my nut not being able to ride. In all seriousness being at an MX event and not being able to ride is a real killer for me - it'll be even worse at the Track Day, cos I love Cusses and the track will be prepped to perfection no doubt.

There;s no way i could throw any dwarfs either - not with my arm! I couldn't even throw a dart at the mo!

And the bizarre thing is I've not actually ran anywhere! It's all been done on the treadmill

Drive to the gym, run on the electric treadmill for an hour and then drive home - my carbon footprint's not very good there is it?

Too cold for me to run outside though - being best mates with Carl has rubbed off on me, and I'm now genetically Californian

You could always help picking up the bits that have fallen off the M@ico after we have finished.

Anyway.....

8th Jan

High Intensity Intervals

Killer session! Treadmill for 30 minutes on Manual Programme

4.02 miles
535 calories

Heart Rates
154 bpm average
171 bpm max

Average speed 8.1 mph

0-5 minutes warm up
5-7 mins - Heart Rate @150 bpm
7-9 mins - Heart Rate @ 157 bpm
9-11 mins - Heart Rate @164 bpm
11-13 mins - Heart Rate @ 170 bpm
13-15 mins Heart Rate @ 175 bpm (I only managed 171 )
15-17 mins - recover back to 140 bpm
Then repeat above session from 5 mins through to 15 (I only got to 171 bpm as a max again!)
27-30 mins - Heart Rate @ 150 bpm

Then crawl off treadmill and go and lay down for a while - being sick is optional!

Actually I did some Ab work after this (not being sick either - some Ab Cradle stuff and then I laid on one of the Gym Ball things and pretended it was a Space Hopper )

- don't care! It'll motivate me to get out and train when I'm feeling a bit down, which is quite frequent just at the minute!

I've finished now anyway (until tonight's session!) - and who knows, it may give some other readers a few ideas re different training sessions to try and the like. Probably not but it might!
