I bought 2 HR monitors because i thought the first was broke. I can hit 200 bpm in the gym, less often now, but when i started a year or so ago i could hit it every time.

Now when i work out, i can work out at 180-190 for sustained periods. Some people just have a higher HR. Thats why i think HR % is a better indication of how hard you're trying.

I managed 182 on the bike in the gym... previous highest was 176... did 15 min on settin 15 tonight cover 5.4 miles and wa fooked... but heart rate wasnt workin.. or mine had stopped..
