What does everyone considered their most funnest/ happiest times racing/ being involved with the motoscramblers?
Ill start, for me its gotta be back in 2005 and my first proper season on racing. Had couple of bad first races towards start of season with the usual Walker special DNF's, then got my act together mid season, during college summer holidays and started winning or being in top 5 week in week out in C class and even won a club/ centre championship
I was running a 02 yz 125, never had to travel anymore than 1 hour tops to a meeting, had my favourite track 15 mins from my house, all local lads chipped in little bit of money and we even had our own practice track 20 mins from our house which brought me on loads. With riding mid week which i have never done since 05, i got to the point that i doubt ill never reach of knowing my bike of by heart like knowing when to downshift at a perfect time and how hard to push etc Last club and centre round of the season in the deep mud at track up in the heart of mining culture, Edmondsley byers where the track actually was in the grounds of the village infants school ( i kid you not) i took my first overall victory and C class champs. Week later stepped up into the B class and got 7th overall down yorkshire somewhere then packed in, sold up and went to uni for 3 months
